YEAR OF THE COMET
Monday, March 3rd 2008
Hello!
As promised, the new album has
arrived.
Without geting all gooey about the motivation and themeology behind the album, it's essentially a
musical telling of the comings and goings of comets through the ages, and how mankind ascribes
such significance to things that are little more than clumps of celestial stone and ice.
I have released the album with one of those new 'copyleft'
Creative Commons licenses,
so everyone is free to do with the album what they please, so long as I'm attributed as
creator of the work, and the work isn't used for commercial purposes. That's a right I'm
not willing to part with, just yet. I have also made it freely available on the Internet Archive,
through the link above. If you find it confusing and difficult to choose, simply click
here
to listen to the album in streaming format, or
here to
download it to your hard drive.
I hope you enjoy it!

NEW ALBUM STILL ON THE WAY
Thursday, February 14th 2008
You may recall something in late 2006 mentioning an
early 2007 album release -
it still hasn't happened. Due to many circumstances beyond my control, and a few within it,
the album has been delayed. I will say at this point that it is 70% complete, and should be
released by the summer.
Currently, I am working on a challenge to create an entire album in only one month, called
The RPM Challenge. At the
moment, three songs have been completed, and the album is temporarily titled 'February'.
When completed on 29 February, the album will be released via this site.
Clip from THE LOSS
Monday, January 15th 2007
I have
posted a clip online of my work in Cavan Campbell's film THE LOSS. The clip is from the final scene of the film, where the main character (who is newly deaf, and slowly going insane) is followed home by an attacker, and confronted in the bath. My deepest thanks to Cavan Campbell for allowing me to post this clip, which has had the sound effects and foley removed.
NEW ALBUM ON THE WAY
Tuesday, December 20th 2006
I am pleased to announce that I will be releasing an album early 2007 entitled
'Out Where the Buses Don't Run'. It will be the first album release under my own name, as '
Flim' is no more. Keep watching this space for info!
